Dot11 Networks Inc. is a startup data Communications Company poised to ride the
wave of new, high speed Wi-Fi internet access that is having such an enormous
impact in the broadband marketplace of today. Dot11 currently provides service to southern
Tarrant and northern Johnson Counties in Texas.

Technical Support Agent
Description:
Applicant will handle Tier 1 technical support calls from internet subscribers.
Duties include diagnosing technical issues with customer equipment, email clients,
scheduling service calls for technicians, and helping to identify network
issues. Must be proficient with Windows operating systems, have a basic
understanding of networking as it pertains to Windows based PC's, and be
familiar with how to set up email clients like Outlook Express, Outlook,
and Thunderbird. Training will be provided. Call volume is relatively
light and studying while at work is allowed. Some light assembly of
customer premise radios may also be required during slow times. Some
work from home is also possible.
Qulifications:
Proficiency with Windows Operating Systems including XP, and Vista (older systems a bonus).
Basic understanding of networking and Windows TCP/IP set up and a
knowledge of consumer grade routers is helpful. Good telephone communication
skills required. Prior customer support experience a plus but not necessary.
Salary: $11.00/hr to start
Hours: 8am-5pm Mon-Fri (flexible)
